About Us


The Urban Agent Team began its journey as a fledgling business idea of Lindsay Dofelmier.  Having heard that the average Realtor in the US was a 51 year old female, and having spent almost 10 years in Seattle, she had a hunch that the urban and echo-boomer demographics were under-served and under-represented in the real estate industry – particularly in Idaho.  As she left the Jeff Graves Group where she began her career in real estate in late 2006, she began to explore the urban real estate model and worked with marketing professionals to target this demographic.   

Simultaneously, in the same city and within the same Keller Williams brokerage, Nick Roundtree was working on building his business model, The Nick Roundtree Real Estate Team.  Nick’s target demographic was nearly identical to Lindsay’s, but for over a year they competed within this small, but growing sector, with no knowledge of one another’s greater plans for expansion.

It wasn’t until May 2008, that fate intervened.  Nick had obtained his real estate license in Seattle and was slated to move back to the Emerald City by the end of the month.  In a panic over what to do with the business he’d built in Boise, he turned to the KW Boise leadership for advice.  They suggested that he contact Lindsay, and over sushi, on one of the busiest urban streets in Boise, a partnership (and future empire!) was born.

Nick brings 10 years of experience in finance & accounting, project management, and contract negotiations to real estate.  Having experience in these areas has its advantages in navigating each real estate transaction.  His background allows him to identify and analyze real estate opportunities for his clients.

Lindsay brings 10 years in grassroots organizing, dispute mediation, marketing (particularly guerilla tactics), and small business operations.  Her experience in these areas provides the perfect compliment to Nick’s talents.  Her background allows her to identify and effectively target marketing campaigns, while her grassroots background facilitates an “outside-the-box” approach that continues to keep the Urban Agent Team on the cutting edge of marketing and brand identification.

Together, Lindsay and Nick, have created a team that embodies as well as effectively represents, the ideals and lifestyles of the 21st century consumer.  From a web presence that is ever-evolving and truly strives for the “web 2.0” experience to creative marketing campaigns that capture even the most inundated consumer’s attention, the Urban Agent Team is consistently forging ahead into new territory.  For a real estate experience that is truly unique there is only one choice: The Urban Agent Team.
